Topics include drawing, painting, pastels, photography, sculpture, ceramics, oil paints, and more. Material lists for each art class are provided on each class page unless otherwise noted. Equipment and supplemental art materials will be provided by the Museum. We believe students having their own supplies is a great way to continue their love, practice, and exploration of art at home. Virtual classrooms allow students to learn from the comfort of their own homes via Zoom.

Looking at different artworks in the collection each month, we will gain inspiration through discussion shared ideas and techniques, then create our own individual work.

The study of art can be an outlet and can provide quite a few significant benefits to high school students. Art can relieve stress, which can be a new and intense emotion for high schoolers. Once ensconced in an art club, students may need to brainstorm for new activities to stoke their creative fires.
The Teens Art Club was an initiative of St Marys Corner Community and Cultural Precinct which was invitingpartnerships with community and cultural organisations to develop and promote diverse creative programs for young people. Jewellery for Beginners with Rosalie Thompson was a memorable workshop for young people facilitated by Penrith City Library Children's Holiday program in Participants learned about where to start with jewelery making - from basic techniques to creating necklaces, earrings and bracelets all in their own jewellery style.
